Any technical field employee is eligible; however, there are some exclusions. Eligible employees include non- regular employees hired solely for the purpose of fulfilling contractual obligations to third parties, but excluding the following:

1. Union employees (unless coverage is specifically required under the terms of the collectively bargained agreement);
2. Employees who are not classified on the employer's payroll as employees;
3. Non-resident aliens;
4. Employee of affiliated employers that are not participating employers; and
5. Employees listed on the employer's records as employees of the administrative and light industrial division of Volt.
